The Team
- Sunyoung Kim is a PhD student in Human Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, and was an IBM Research Intern in 2010. She likes exploring nature, building cool stuff to keep nature beautiful, and enjoy its beauty.
- Christine Robson is a researcher in the mobile computing group at IBM Research - Almaden. She's an avid environmentalist and has an obsession with big data problems.
- Jeff Pierce manages the mobile research group at Almaden. While his scientific and technical accomplishments are many and varied, he is also proud to have been Time's "Person of the Year" for 2006.
- Tom Zimmerman is a researcher in the Mobile Information Group at IBM Research-Almaden. He likes hooking people to machines, building gadgets, and composing loud music with his Strat and synthesizers.
- Eben Haber is a researcher at IBM Research - Almaden. His hobbies include cycling, scuba diving, and amateur data collection to better understand his world, from GPS logging of commute times, to fish counting, to rainfall at his house.

- Stevens & Permanente Creeks Watershed Council, a volunteer organization whose mission is to engage the community in wise stewardship of our watershed, furthering the protection, restoration, and community appreciation of creeks and associated habitats.
- Project Creek Watch, a project from the Amador Valley High School Science Department which enables long term scientific study of the Arroyo Del Valle Creek in Pleasanton, CA.
- World Water Monitoring Day, an international education and outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens to conduct basic monitoring of their local water bodies.
